Het verhaal gaat dat vele jaren geleden er een filiaal van de KFC-keten, Kentucky Fried Chicken, op de hoek zat. Die sloot de deuren, naar ik meen vanwege de burgeroorlog in 1994. Een Jemeniet nam het pand over om er een eigen restaurant te openen die dezelfde naam hield. Vandaar.
